Description
Yes, it's available!Hello Craigslist, I am selling my 1996 Mazda B2300 Single Cab Pickup. This truck is has identical components with the popular and reliable Ford Ranger. The key differences are the exterior styling: front grill, headlights, taillights, wheels, etc. This truck is completely original, has zero accidents, clean title, and clean CARFAX.It's got no A/C (was an option back in the day), crank windows, radio/cassette player, dual sliding rear window, and nice cloth bench seat for three people (sort of). It truly feels like the 90s driving in this thing.READ BELOW.I have owned this truck for four years exactly. The truck spent a good chunk of its life at Joint Base Lewis McChord with the original owner. The truck was then passed down to his son in-law who then sold it to his friend. I purchased from the friend. The truck very obviously was not used for heavy duty work at all in its lifetime. All panels and components appear to be original, and even the original books and keys are still available with the truck. This has a Mazda branded Duraliner bedliner, Mazda mud flaps, and Mazda window visor (passenger side is missing). This is definitely a well preserved time capsule rather than a beat up truck. In my ownership, I have only put 2,000 miles on it helping my neighbor with dump runs, moving furniture, and taking it to the lake and beach. I love driving it around town with the windows open and enjoying the simple ride. I've changed the timing belt, replaced the wiper blades, replaced the 12V battery, and had tint professionally installed. Clutch feels fine; don't know when it was last replaced. The windshield has been cracked since I owned it, and the tires will need to be replaced (and four-wheel alignment will be needed). Top that off with an oil change and detail and you are good to go! BONUS: I have a locking black canopy with extra keys if desired for $200. Must pickup canopy same day.One other thing to note is that in previous ownership, someone tried to bust through the passenger side door lock, causing some damage. It is still fully functional. Maybe they gave up when they noticed the truck has a stick-shift (the ultimate theft deterent!)If you know about this generation Mazda B-Series/Ford Ranger, you know these are reliable. Not much else I can say!I will be very sad to let this truck go, but I have no real need for it and need to use the funds towards paying off student loans and other boring expenses. If you have read this far and interested in this cool little truck, please contact me to schedule viewing/purchase. The truck is $3000 plus tax and licensing cost. This truck qualifies for collector plates (no annual tab fees). You may also bring a set of license plates previously registered to a truck of yours and transfer them onto this truck to save a little bit on licensing cost (yes this can be done). You must be ready to transfer the vehicle on the spot at my local licensing agency. I will accept cash (no Venmo or personal checks). I will also accept a cashier's check from a local bank/credit union if there is enough time to go there before the license agency closes for the day.No lowballs or annoying questions please. Please take a look around Craigslist and compare. Good luck and have fun!Thank you.
