Selling a turn-key, exceptionally well maintained 2001 GMC 3500 Heavy Duty utility truck with only 104,750 original miles. Equipped with the legendary 8.1L big-block gas engine and a 2WD dually rear axle setup. It runs great with no mechanical issues or past wrecks.Body: Premium Knapheide 9' utility bed with secure compartments and master lock bars that are wired to magnetic sensors on the Viper alarm system. Minor cosmetic paint peeling common for this era, but structurally solid and a pleasure to work out of. Minor tear on front seat side. Clean dent and rust free.Security: Integrated Viper alarm system that is wired with glass breakage microphone on interior and sensors on utility bed. You can run power tools directly off the truck for mobile work applications. The starter battery is brand new.Other: If anything ever needed to be fixed I had it fixed. I've owned it since 2011. I've got lots of records for the truck and have spent a ton of money to keep it reliable and strong. Transmission was rebuilt and upgraded by Scotts Valley Transmission (~$5000). It's got a new starter and battery ($450). The entire front end was rebuilt including new tie rods, shackles, king pins (this repair was around $9000!). Replaced fuel pump and transfer pump ($1565) along with fuel balancing module and the ignition starter relay ($310). Preventatively had throttle body rebuilt by Cardone so it's good for another 100,000 miles ($500). Replaced water pump and coolant along with thermostat and new serpentine belt ($827). Tons more that I can't find receipts for but I've flushed all the fluids and I'm pretty sure I redid the brakes... Too much to list!This vehicle was fleet maintained before I bought it. So it's had fresh oil changes on schedule for it's entire life.Perfect for contractor, welder or fleet vehicle ready to go to work today. Clear title in hand.
