2002 GMC W4500 13'

Description

DESCRIPTIONThis 2002 GMC W4500 is a mechanic special with a lot of potential for someone who’s handy, knows commercial trucks, or has access to affordable repairs. It does need some attention, which is exactly why we’re selling and pricing it AS-IS rather than putting more money into it ourselves. For the right person, that’s where the opportunity is.One of the biggest positives is the Jasper replacement engine. The replacement engine cost approximately $7,000, and only a few hundred miles were put on it after installation. It also has a heavy-duty Tommy Gate liftgate that was professionally installed, costing approximately $15,000 for the liftgate/installation when it was originally done.Get the remaining items sorted out and this could be put back to work for moving, deliveries, junk removal, contracting, landscaping, equipment hauling, or another commercial operation. For someone who can do the work themselves or has the right connections, this could be a great way to get into a box truck at a reasonable price and turn it back into a money-making work truck.TRUCK DETAILS:2002 GMC W450013’ boxApproximately 147,000 chassis miles5.7L V8 gas engineAutomatic transmissionJasper replacement engine with only a few hundred miles reportedly put on it since installationHeavy-duty Tommy Gate liftgateTwo rear tires replacedWhite exteriorITEMS THAT NEED ATTENTION:-One catalytic converter is missing-Reverse requires some attention — exact cause has not been diagnosed-Tommy Gate needs electrical/mechanical attentionWe’re selling it AS-IS rather than putting additional time and money into the remaining repairs ourselves.
